GIVE TODAY and Celebrate 50 Years With Us!
As UT Tyler reflects on the past 50 years it is humbling to realize the amazing achievements that have been accomplished through the incredible faith, advocacy and financial support from alumni, family and Patriot friends giving of their time, talent and resources as well as strategic partnerships that continue to significantly impact the lives and futures of Patriot students.
There could not be a better time and opportunity to help us celebrate 50 years than by joining us today to invest in the education and opportunities of our future leaders of tomorrow.
Student conference funding is a key priority for the faculty of the Soules College of Business. These conferences are an essential part of a healthy and successful academic life. With the generous support from alumni, partners and friends like you the Soules College of Business provides over 2.000 students with the opportunity to put into practice the skills they learn in the classroom — and to play a leading role in shaping the future of business.
Regional and national student conferences are an essential part of a healthy and successful academic life. Typically student organizations and their faculty advisors have conducted fundraisers that often require intimate face-to-face contact in order to help defray the cost of attending regional and national meetings. However, due to unprecedented challenges and ongoing uncertainty due to the pandemic, finding funding to attend conferences continues to be difficult. You can help give them the resources they need to compete and to succeed by making a gift today.
Student conferences provide a myriad of opportunities for our Patriot students; including opportunities to demonstrate talent, and a stepping stone to securing internships, scholarships and exposure to real-world issues. Being involved in a team gives students the opportunity to be creative, develop new technologies, travel and learn from peers, and build vital skills for their careers as a professional. Students are also given a platform to connect with top employers, build their resume, and dream big.
Our goal is to send every qualifying student to a conference. This fund gives the students the resources they need; defrays costs of attendance; and reduces barriers to students participating in sanctioned competitions. Student organizations seeking your help are:
- ACM Student Chapter (Computer Science)
- SSHRD (Student Society for Human Resource Development)
- AMA Student Chapter (Marketing)
- ATMAE Student Chapter (Technology)
- SHRM Student Chapter (Human Resource Management)
- eSports Club (Recreational Sports)
